Lana Nguyen
Lana Nguyen ‘25, a native of San Francisco, is a driven entrepreneur and passionate about developing sustainable healthcare innovation. Currently pursuing a Biology: Physiology and Biotechnology Sc.B degree and an Entrepreneurship certificate at Brown University, she aims to fuse entrepreneurship, medicine, and research to address the needs of vulnerable populations and improve models of care. As a recipient of multiple research funds, Lana has worked as a research assistant at UCSF, Brown’s School of Public Health, and Hasbro Children’s Hospital on projects that center around social determinants of health.
Lana’s commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond academics, as she actively mentors and empowers minority youths through her role as the Program Director of the Young Entrepreneurship Program @ Brown and Vice President of YEP National. Additionally, she is the Co-founder SupplyHopeInfo, a non-profit organization that has fundraised over $60,000 to provide free academic supplies to over 4,000 low-income students across the country. Her remarkable work has garnered recognition from prominent figures, including California First Lady Jennifer Newsom and San Francisco Mayor London Breed.
